PEF WILLING TO COMPROMISE ON PARKING DILEMMA.(MAIN)

The opening of Albany's new Madison Avenue parking garage moves the city a step closer to solving its longtime parking shortage, but is by no means the final, fair solution. The Public Employees Federation long ago identified a need for additional parking to accommodate the workers who are being relocated downtown. Most of these employees have had free parking at their job sites for years and did not choose to work in downtown Albany.
